Ghana U17 to play Sampdoria in friendly today

Ghana’s U17 will play Sampdoria in a pre-African Junior Championship friendly on Thursday afternoon.

The Black Starlets have been preparing in Novara, Italy for the tournament which will kick-start on 13 April in Morocco.

The team won their first test match by 10-0 against Swiss second-tier side FC Gossau.

Ghana face a tough task ahead at the tournament against Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Congo in Group B.
