Ghana-Nigeria friendly in danger

(The Tide) -- The Nigeria Football Association (NFA) is currently in the dark on the readiness of its Ghanaian counterpart to engage the Super Eagles of Nigeria in an international friendly billed for London in August.

According to "The Tide", the NFA is yet to receive any formal letter from the Ghana Football Association(GFA) confirming their willingness to confront Nigeria in London after their intention was verbally communicated to the Glass House.

Barely three weeks to the proposed friendly, the venue of the encounter in London has not been fixed while top Super Eagles and Black Stars players have not been informed by their respective associations about the match.

Only recently, Super Eagles and Viborg FC of Denmark midfield maestro, Paul Obiefule revealed that they are yet to get any official letter from NFA on the Ghana friendly while expressing his readiness to hit London if called up for the friendly.

?We have not been informed about the Ghana friendly, but we are all ready to give Nigeria our best again,? he said.
