Ghana Cycling President elected to UCI Arbitral body

As per the composition and revision of the UCI (International Cycling Union) commission board selecting two members every four years, Ghana Cycling President, Mohammed Sahnoon Esq. has been elected onto the UCI arbitral board and disciplinary commission for a four year term becoming the first and only Ghanaian to make it unto the highest decision making body of world cycling.

Since becoming the President of the Ghana Cycling Federation, Mohammed Sahnoon has overseen a resurrection of the sport’s constitutional image rapidly and later saw him move up the ranks in the African Cycling Confederation. He assisted in the constitutional brush up of the African body and due to his works was recommended by Dr. Waggih, President of the African cycling confederation and current vice president of the UCI.

Dennis Kweku Moore, the Communications Director of the Ghana Cycling Federation said the legal luminary is already getting set to mediate on a case in the Arab region between the Libyan Cycling Federation and the Libyan Government.

The entire Executives of the Ghana Cycling Federation and all stakeholders are proud of him and believe through this feat, Cycling will continue to receive the necessary respect ad recognition it deserves.
