Ghalca revises kick-off times for G6 Tournament

The embarrassing power failure that disrupted Hearts of Oak’s Ghalca G6 opener against Aduana Stars at the Sekondi Essipong Stadium on Thursday has influenced organizers to revise the kick-off times for the pre-season competition.

Ghalca, the organizers of the G6, do not want to risk another power cut delaying the commencement of matches on Friday.

As a result, Premier League champions Medeama SC will face Asante Kotoko in the Group B match at 1.30pm instead of the original 4.00pm while Hearts of Oak tackles Medeama SC at 3.45pm instead of 6.30pm.

Day one of the Ghalca G6 recorded two stalemates as Hearts of Oak drew blank with Aduana Stars and AshantiGold settled for a goalless draw with Berekum Chelsea.
