Germany announce squad to face Ghana

Head coach of the German national team, Julian Nagelsmann, has announced his 26-man squad to face Ghana in an international friendly.

Germany will play the Black Stars on March 30, 2026, in a friendly match aimed at studying West African football and assessing players ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The squad, announced on March 19, 2026, features three goalkeepers, including Alexander Nübel, but veteran Manuel Neuer was not included.

In defense, top players such as Real Madrid’s Antonio Rüdiger, Bayern Munich’s Jonathan Tah and Joshua Kimmich are part of the team.

The midfield includes Aleksandar Pavlovic and Felix Nmecha, among others, to provide both offensive and defensive support.

Germany’s attacking options boast a host of high-profile stars, including Bayern Munich duo Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sané, Liverpool’s Florian Wirtz, and Arsenal forward Kai Havertz.
