German gives to Nadel Ahly Rovers

Cape Coast, July 28, GNA - A German sports enthusiast, Mr Everwen Herbert on Saturday donated sports items worth GH¢3,000.00 to Cape Coast Nadel Ahly Rovers (F/C), a Second Division club based at Cape Coast.

The sports kit which are made up of two sets of jerseys, 12 Pairs of boots, a set of hose, three footballs, 34 t-shirts and pants were received by Alhaji Ibrahim, Chairman of the Club. Mr Herbert commended the Club for emerging first in the Central Region Division One League with 35 points after the League ended on Saturday.

He said the donation was in response to an appeal made by the executives of the club during an earlier visit he made to the club's training grounds.

Alhaji Ibrahim thanked Mr Herbert for the gesture and appealed to other soccer fans and philanthropists to emulate his example. He said it was the aim of the Club's management to ensure that it qualified for the First Division this year and appealed to the playing body to take their training seriously and be committed to the development of the Club.
