GUSA GAMES: Team UCC still undefeated

University of Cape Coast (UCC) is yet to taste defeat after beating Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) by 2-0 to make it three straight wins in the ongoing Ghana University games currently ongoing in Winneba.

KNUST kept the pressure on the defending champions but failed to utilize the opportunities which came their way.

It was Stephen Ackon who opened the scores through a set piece in the 72nd minute before Eric Boadi converted a spot kick to make it two for UCC.

University of Development Studies (UDS) who were earlier leading the log dropped points after drawing blank with University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA).

In the other games, University of Education, Winneba (UEW) came from behind to beat university of Energy and Natural Resources (UNER) by 3-2 while University of Ghana bettered their poor outing with a 4-0 thrashing of University of Mines and Technology (UMaT)

UCC now top the log with nine points followed by UDS and UEW with seven and six points respectively.
