GSA for congress on October 31

The Ghana Swimming Association (GSA) will on Saturday, October 31, organise a congress to elect officers for the running of the Association for the next four years.

Mr. Theophilus Edzie Wilson told the GNA Sports that, the congress will be held at Silicon Hotel, Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

He said 50 delegates drawn from other regions and stakeholders will converge at the venue for the elective congress adding that it will pave way for new direction for the Association.

According to Mr. Wilson, nine positions will be up for grab during the exercise.

He said the Association will elect President, First and Second Vice Presidents, Treasurer, General Secretary and four Executive Members.

He expressed appreciation to Africola, Vitamilk and Elite Sports for sponsoring the congress.
