Ferdinand Sabi Acquah (GK) – WAFA: The young goalkeeper emerged the shot stopper of the week after denying Diawesie Taylor the chance to score on several occasions. Philip Osei – Medeama SC: Philip was in amazing form against Ebusua Dwarfs. He was on the score sheet for the visitors in their 3-1 win over the Crabs. He emerged the player of the match as well.

Ahmed Adams – Berekum Chelsea: Adams was a pillar in defence for the visitors as they shocked giants Accra Hearts of Oak in the league opener. He stopped their dangerous attacks and made no mistake in clearing his back. He was great on the day.

Mubarak Yusif – AshGold: Yusif was the man of the game after staging a flawless show. He registered the opener for the Miners and ended up winning the player of the game. His aggression and quick play at the back denied Olympics from finding the back of the net.

Mudasiru Salifu – Asante Kotoko: The Porcupine Warriors generally did not have a wonderful day as many expected them to bully XI Wonders. But Mudasiru was a standout. His performance was incredible as he provided many goal scoring opportunities for Kotoko but for the goalkeeping brilliance of John Moosie who saved the visitors from conceding more goals.

Agyenim Boateng – Medeama SC: Boateng combined excellently with Boadu to spell doom for Dwarfs. He provided all the assists for the three goals scored by Medeama SC. Many were even shocked he couldn’t win the player of the game.
