Medeama Sporting Club has signed a one-year sponsorship agreement with Fenaam Industries Limited, makers of the Peeva beverage brand, in a partnership aimed at promoting sports development and strengthening the club's commercial growth.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed in Accra, makes Peeva the official beverage sponsor of Medeama SC for the 2026/2027 football season, including the club's domestic and continental campaigns.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer of Medeama SC, James Essilfie, described the agreement as a significant milestone in the club's development.

"Today marks another significant milestone in the growth and development of Medeama Sporting Club," he said.

Essilfie noted that the partnership brings together two ambitious Ghanaian brands with a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth.

He expressed appreciation to the management of Fenaam Industries for their confidence in Medeama's vision, adding that the sponsorship would strengthen the club's efforts to compete at the highest level of Ghanaian and African football.

"Together, we will continue to inspire excellence and contribute to the growth of the sports industry in Ghana," he stated.

Board Chairman and Director of Fenaam Industries Limited, Frank Adjei Mensah, said the company decided to partner with Medeama because of the club's professionalism, discipline, and strong organisational structure.

According to him, sports play a vital role in inspiring communities, developing young talent, and promoting excellence.

"The Medeama Sporting Club has built a strong reputation through hard work, discipline, professionalism and success. These qualities resonate strongly with our own values as a company, making this partnership a natural fit," he said.

Adjei Mensah revealed that the sponsorship agreement will run for one year and that the company's primary objective is to increase the visibility and consumption of the Peeva brand, particularly in Tarkwa and surrounding communities.

"After one year, we want Peeva to be the number one beverage brand in Tarkwa, Bogoso and Prestea, and eventually across Ghana," he said.

He further explained that although several Ghana Premier League clubs expressed interest in partnering with the company, Medeama emerged as the preferred choice because of its professional standards and long-term vision.

Meanwhile, Medeama officials highlighted the immediate impact of the partnership, citing the club's recent coronation ceremony where Fenaam Industries supplied more than 2,700 packs of water and beverages free of charge to supporters.

According to club representatives, every fan who entered the stadium received complimentary drinks from Peeva, an initiative that has already boosted the brand's popularity in Tarkwa and nearby communities.

The two organisations expressed confidence that the partnership will deliver significant benefits to both parties while contributing to the development of Ghanaian football and sports marketing.
