GOC appoints African Origin Travel and Sports Tourism official Glasgow 2014 ATR

African Origin Travel and Sports Tourism have been appointed the exclusive Authorised Ticket Reseller (ATR) by the Ghana Olympic Committee for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

The GOC arrived at the choice of African Origin after a thorough screening process having received bids from several travel and tour agencies.

A statement signed by GOC General Secretary Richard Akpokavie read: “The Ghana Olympic Committee announces that African Origin Travel and Sports Tourism has been officially appointed as the Authorised Ticket Reseller (ATR) for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

“As the ATR for the Games, African Origin becomes the sole authorised organisation responsible for the sale of event tickets for the Commonwealth Games."

The GOC have also handed the provision of hospitality services for the games to be staged in Glasgow to the leading Ghanaian travel and tour agency.

Ghana will be making a 15th appearance at the games this term in Glasgow. The event begins on July 23rd to August 3rd 2014.
