Kotoko temporarily moved to fourth on the League table with a 2-1 win over WA All Stars on Saturday at the Babayara Sports Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors needed a win to keep their title hopes alive after a patchy run in the League.

Striker Obed Owusu scored his first goal in so many matches for the Reds after heading in a cross from Baba Mahama.

Under-fire Yakubu Mohammed ended his goal drought after scoring his fifth goal of the season.

The forward took advantage of a counter break before taking a cool finish.

Substitute Kweku Baffoe came off the bench to get a consolation for the visitors after beating an offside trap to loop the ball over Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan.

The victory pushes Kotoko up to fourth on the table with 29 points.
