The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has written a letter to the Ghana Football Association to suspend the League matches until CAS ruling is adhered.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport last week asked the constituent body of the Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association to review its decision between Tema Youth and the Ghana Football Association.

The applicants' (Tema Youth) case was that the respondents (GFA)were involved infimtdulent deals or acts in the process of registration of that player thereby making the player unqualified to play in a League game against Dreams FC.

The Disciplinary Committee found that there was no evidence adduced by the applicants in support of their allegation of fi'aud and consequently dismissed the protest, which decision was upheld by the Appeals Committee. It is against this decision that the instant application for review has been initiated.

The latest decision by CAS has prompted the Ghana League Clubs Association to call for an immediate break of the League until the case between the two parties (Tema Youth and GFA) is adhered.

This means the week 21 matches which are supposed to be played on Sunday could be postponed until further notice.
