Luanda, Angola, Jan. 22, GNA - The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will lodge an official complaint to the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) over the attack on a leading supporter of the Black Stars, Samuel Aggrey also known as "Obour".

This was after Rashid Pelpuo, Minister of Youth and Sports had held discussions with the GFA a day before his departure to Ghana.

Kofi Nsiah, General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) confirmed to the GNA Sports that his outfit will take the matter up but he is yet to forward it to CAF.

The General Secretary said the GFA will soon make a case for Obour at the continent's soccer controlling body.

"Obour" was attacked by security personnel at the 11th November Sports Stadium in Luanda, after Ghana's lone goal victory over Burkina Faso on Tuesday.

The key supporter who usually paints himself in the national colours with only white underpants to match and carrying a small pot that emits smoke from the burning of woods and fire and lifting high a placard, has gained popularity over the past five years with his unique way of supporting the Black Stars.

Obour's cherished pot got broken in the course of the attack and told the GNA Sports that, he will still paint his body in the national colours for the game on Sunday.

He stated that even though he will miss his pot on the day, he will replace it with a guitar to make his appearance unique on the day. Obour said he regrets the absence of the pot and said he will find a replacement when he gets back to Ghana. 22 Jan. 10
