GFA opens 14-day coaching course

Accra, May 15, GNA - The Ghana Football Association (GFA) in conjunction with the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) is to organize a two weeks Cost Sharing Professional "C" Coaching License Course at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence.

The course will commence on Sunday, May 24 and end on June 7, 2009. A statement issued and signed by George B. Dasobere, Development Coordinator of the GFA copied to GNA Sports said holders of GFA four year Business and Football Development Intermediate Certificate are qualified to participate in the course.

According to the statement, the course will be under the instructions of Chief Onigbinde of Nigeria and Ben Koufie of Ghana. The two are senior instructors of the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) as well as Technical Committee Members of CAF.

It urged interested applicants to contact Mr Francis Oti Akenten at the GFA secretariat for registration to commence their profession as CAF license coaches. 15 May 09
