The President of the Ghana football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi has quickly debunked rumours that the FA has appointed former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah and former goalkeeper Richard Kingston for team manager and goalkeeper’s trainer respectively.

“Nobody has been appointed as at now apart from Kwesi Appiah, in future we would consider all other appointment but we want the Black Stars to win trophies so who ever would be appointment would have that as an objective,” Mr Nyantakyi said in an interview.

Some rumours were making waves prior to the appointment of Kwesi Appiah that Stephen Appiah and Richard Kingston have both landed themselves appointments into the technical team of the Black Stars.

The FA president recently revealed that the association is considering appointing two assistant Coaches to support Kwesi Appiah manage the Black Stars and the Local Black stars as well.
