The Chief Executive Officer of Hearts of Oak Fredrick Moore has joined the debate on whether the domestic league season should be cancelled or not.

The league season in Ghana has been put on hold due to the Coronavirus pandemic with most of the teams breaking camp.

Some football administrators are calling for the scrapping of the league season due to the Coronavirus outbreak whilst others think otherwise.

Speaking to TV3’s Juliet Bawuah in an interview, the CEO of Hearts of Oak believes the league season should continue but first have to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic.

“It will be premature to cancel the league season. Our season have to coincide with the other countries. We have to know when the pandemic will end before making any decisions. Should in case we terminate our league season and the other countries continue, then what will we do”, he said.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association is set to engage the various clubs to discuss the way forward of the league season.
