Funds needed for female blind sports team to Algeria

The Ghana Blind Union (GBU) the internationally recognized organization of the blind has made progress in its operations over the years by running an eye clinic in Accra , selling consumables for the blind and promoting various projects through its members across the country. Through its youth and sports wings, the union has for some time now been participating in national and international games with tremendous success. At the moment the sports wing of the union is preparing its female group to honor an invitation to participate in the Africa Goal Ball tournament in Algeria from 27th February to march 6, 2016. In an e-mail circulated to all members of the GBU, the Union has launched an appeal for donation from members of the union and the general public towards supporting the female GBU sports contingents to travel to Algeria for the games
The email was sent from its secretariat in Accra by the Executive Director of the Union Dr Peter Obeng Asamoa as follows
