French clubs in chase for €6m rated Waris – Agent

The agent of Black Stars striker Abdul Majeed Waris has claimed that French side RC Lens have tentatively approached Spartak Moscow for the services of the Ghanaian.

The Russian side currently have a €6m evaluation on the player’s head and two other Ligue 1 clubs are currently in talks with the player’s representatives.

“We are aware of real interest from two ligue 1 clubs, neither of which are Lens, but there is also interest outside of France. If a club can agree a transfer fee with Spartak then discussions in respect of the player can take place,” his agent Phil Radley told Get French Football News.

Waris spent half of the past season on loan in France with relegated Valenciennes where he scored 9goals in 16 games.
