L’Equipe is reporting that OGC Nice have started discussions with Aston Villa for a possible loan move for Jordan Ayew.

But Nice must be ready to meet his huge salary bill that is if Aston Villa are interested in the deal.

Club new multi-millionaire chairman Tony Xia has ruled out the sale of the Ghana international.

Ayew would fancy a move to a top-flight league after Villa got relegated to the Championship last season.

If the deal falls through, Nice are also considering Bordeaux striker Enzo Crivelli.
