Ghanaian boxer Freezy Macbones, real name Seth Gyimah, is set to return to the ring on April 5, 2026, at Laboma Beach, Accra, taking on Nigeria’s Jamiu Animashaun in what promises to be a thrilling clash for fans of West African boxing.
Macbones comes into the fight seeking redemption after his last outing.
On December 20, 2025, he suffered a unanimous decision defeat to Jonathan “Worldwide” Tetteh at the University of Ghana Stadium, a loss that saw Tetteh claim the WBA Africa Light Heavyweight Championship.
The setback has only fueled Freezy’s determination to prove he remains one of Ghana’s top boxing prospects.
