Accra Great Olympics management member Fred Pappoe is not eager to land himself the post as the Ghana Football Association President.

The former Black Stars management chairman has been tipped as the successor for current FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi who has been under pressure to vacate the seat as President of the Nation’s football governing body having served for the past 12 years.

Former Football Association chairman Dr. Nyarho Tamaklo few weeks ago tipped Fred Pappoe as the perfect candidate to step into the shoes of Nyantakyi.

But the former Ghana Football Association executive committee member says he is yet to take a decision on whether to run for the Presidency in the next election.

“I am really grateful Dr. Nyarho Tamaklo for seeing me as a candidate and also having confidence in me that I can take up that position, but it is not something I have thought about,” he told Atinka FM.

“I have not thought about the FA Presidency, if it happens then that is fine but for now am just looking forward to how to help Great Olympics in the League.”

Pappoe has been regarded as one of the competent football administrators in the country.
