Fred Pappoe coy over GFA presidential aspirations

Former Vice President of the Ghana Football Association and a director of Accra Great Olympics, Fred Pappoe has failed to open the lip on the cup regarding his presidential aspirations in 2019.

Pappoe who has been tipped as a possible candidate to succeed current President, Kwesi Nyantakyi failed to hit the nail right in the head when asked of his plans to be in the football driving seat.

President of the Ghana FA Kwasi Nyantakyi has publicly made his intention clear that he is not contesting for the seat again in the 2019 elections, making lots of football gurus sticking their necks out to fight for the covetous seat.

Latest to hint at contesting the 2019 elections is former vice president of the FA Fred Pappoe who sees his return as "not impossible".

"The lections comes off in 2019, let's see what happens then" Pappoe told Focal Sports on Fox FM in Kumasi.

Asked whether people should expect him contesting, Pappoe failed to rule out the possibility.

"Let's see what happens, it is not impossible for me to contest for the (GFA) Presidency,” he added.
