Fred Pappoe: I will not contest for GFA Ex-Co

Fred Pappoe has revealed that he will not contest in the up-coming Executive Committee (Ex-Co) of the Ghana Football Association election.

Pappoe has been serving on the Executive Committee of the football governing body of Ghana, since 2005 and even got the chance to serve as the Vice President of the association from 2005 to 2011.

However, he has decided to quit the Ex-co, when his current term of office expires this year and also retire from the management of national teams and concentrate on club football administration.

“I am not sure to contest for the Executive Committee position again. One person can’t do one thing for ever. If anything at all, I have played my part, so what I want to do now is contribute my quota to my club (Gt. Olympics) and enjoy football as a fun.

“However, I think for national team level administration or management, I have had enough,” he told Atinka FM.
