Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah impressed in Manchester United’s pre-season opener which they won 5-2 against LA Galaxy.

Mensah replaced Daley Bind in the 46th minute and he held his own as the Red Devils demolished the MLS side at the Stubhub center in California.

With David Beckham looking on 19-year-old Rashford scored twice at the StubHub Centre, cooly taking his goals after being set up by first by Jesse Lingard and then Juan Mata.

Marouane Fellaini was also on target in the first half.

Two more goals were scored but it wasn’t Manchester United’s record signing, Romelu Lukaku, on the scoresheet but Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Anthony Martial instead.

Fosu-Mensah will be seeking more minutes in United’s next match against Red Salt Lake.
