Former Black Stars coach Akwasi Appiah has revealed that he is not ready to return to Kotoko now but has not ruled out a possible return to the Porcupine Warriors.

Speaking in an interview with Kessben FM in Kumasi, Akwasi Appiah did not rule out a possible return to the club but insisted the timing of such a call will be key.

"I played for Kotoko for eleven years and have also coached them for close to five years so it is part of me now.

"I always have the team at heart but the timing of such a call will be key," Akwasi Appiah said.

The former Asante Kotoko left back was recently linked to a move back to the Reds after a successful career in far away Sudan where he won the best foreign coach in the Sudanese League.

Kotoko finished fifth on the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League table despite making some of the best buys before the season started and many think the Reds have technical challenges.
