Former Aduana Stars skipper Godfred Saka put up an outstanding performance in his debut game for Enyimba FC as they drew 1-1 with Wiki Tourist on Sunday evening.

Saka who is expected to officially put pen on paper for the Elephants this week was superb in the pre-season tournament game where he operated from his usual right-back position.

The ex-Black Stars B defender won applauds from Enyimba coach Paul Aigbogun due to his versatility which saw him join the attack with ease and also tracking back to defend.

He is expected to maintain his place in the Enyimba team this afternoon (Monday) when they lock horns with Nasarawa United in their third game of tournament.

Saka who spent nine years at Aduana Stars decided not to renew his contract after the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League season.

Several clubs including Ashanti Gold and Elmina Sharks were after his services but he decided to join the former African champions.
