Hearts of Oak will be counting on the prowess of new recruit Foovi Aguidi to overturn a 2-0 deficit suffered against Asante Kotoko in the first leg of their friendly tie.
The Togolese striker was unable to weave his magic as Ahmed Toure stole the show for the hosts in last Monday’s clash.
Aguidi was signed by Hearts after missing out on Toure who decided at the last minute to join his former club having held extensive talks with the Phobians.
The club is now banking all their hopes on the Togolese import to excel even more than the dreaded Ahmed Toure in the return leg of their friendly tie on Sunday.
“If they [Kotoko] have Ahmed Toure, we also have Foovi [Aguidi],” Hearts accountant Hackman Aidoo said.
“He [Aguidi] was not feeling too well in the first leg game and that is why his presence wasn’t felt that much.
“But he will be very fine and fired up for Sunday’s return clash.”
