Edmund Arko-Mensah scored his first goal for Finnish side Honka FC in their 2-1 defeat to HJK in a friendly on Wednesday.

The former Ghana U-17 star found the back of the net in the 90th minute to half the deficit of the side.

Mensah joined the Yellow and Black on a three-year deal in October last year from Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea.

The 18-year-old managed to play four matches for Honka FC in the Finnish Cup before the suspension of the league.

Mensah shone for Ghana at the 2017 Africa Youth Championship in Gabon where the team won silver.

He also played at the FIFA U17 World Cup that same year India as the team reached the quarter final.
