Lionel Messi was at his majestic best as Barcelona defeated Chelsea 3-0 to book a seat in the quarter-final stage of the 2017/2018 Champions League.

As expected, fans of Barcelona were on cloud nine whereas their friends on the losing side were unhappy with the results.

The Chelsea fans, despite admitting that Messi was too good for their defenders, believe that Antonio Conte was tactically clueless on the day. In their view, the defeat to Barcelona should mark the end of Antonio Conte’s spell with Chelsea.

The Barcelona fans were full of praise for their “football god” who had a hand in all three goals. Messiah, Football god, football king are some of the words the Barcelona fans used to describe Messi.

Barcelona have joined La Liga rivals Real Madrid and Sevilla in Friday's quarter-final draw.

Chelsea, meanwhile, joins fellow Premier League clubs Manchester United and Tottenham in exiting in the first knockout round.
