Faisal Leave For Zimbabwe ON Monday

One of Ghana?s representatives in this year?s Confederations Cup, Kumasi King Faisal will depart Accra on Monday, April 5 enroute to Zimbabwe for their first taste of continental action against Zimbabwe?s Dynamos FC next weekend.

Faisal Managing Director, George Amoako confirmed to the Soccer Express that a 30-man contingent of players, officials and journalists would depart Accra on Monday with South African Airways and reconnect through Johannesburg to Harare.

Amoako said Faisal had been compelled to depart early because South African Airways could not guarantee the contingent seats for its Wednesday flight.

King Faisal qualified for its first continental competition after placing third in last year?s league.

Fourth placed Liberty Professionals are also in the competition by virtue of two slots provided Ghana for the Confederations Cup.
