Ghana have drawn host India as well as Columbia and USA in group A ahead of the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
The two-time African champions will make first appearance in a decade against South American side Columbia before playing CONCACAF giants USA and rounding off against Asians.
Many of Ghana’s matches before they sealed qualification for the World Cup were goal fests, be it their 6-5 victory over Burkina Faso over two legs in the second round of qualification or the 4-0 win over Cameroon and the 5-0 thumping of Gabon in the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
While they were the first team to seal qualification for the World Cup from Africa, they lost to Mali in the final.
Black Starlets management committee chief, Kweku Ayiah and head coach, Paa Kwesi Fabian were in attendance.
