At least the Club will play friendly and tournament matches in some three Southern regions, before returning to its base in the Northern part if the country.
Apart from the field work, the tour will also help the players, especially younger ones to get used to travelling over long distances and also socialize and know themselves off the field.
Head Coach of F.C TANGA, Coach Kamara Dini is very hopeful that by the time the Club finishes playing all the pre-season matches lined up by Management, the players will be ready to cause a stir in Division One.
According to him, even through the squad he used for the Division One qualification was good, there is the need to beef it up with some few experienced players, to ensure that, the objective of the Club is achieved by the end of the 2016 Division One Season.
The Club is on a pre-seasn tour away from its comfort zone and will get back to the Upper East in the middle of December 2016, by which time the Technical Team would have finalized its selection process.
From November 28-29, 2015 F.C TANGA will be participating in a tournament hosted by Unistar Academy at Kasoa-Ofankor in the Central region. The tournament apart from being part of prepation for the participating Clubs, it will also create opportunities for some Spanish Agents that will present, to select players for Clubs in the various Spanish Leagues.
President of F.C TANGA, Rockson Coffie has assured the Technical Team that, Management will arrange more matches to provide more playing time for all players travelling with the Club, to justify their call up into the 30 men squad for Division One League.
"I was impressed with the performance of the Division Two squad and I know that, if we maintain the same fighting spirit as a Club and the players resolve to do extra work, F.C TANGA will be on it way towards an enviable status in Zone One and make history in the country and the Upper East region."
He said Management and Technical Team are doing their best to prepare and motivate players for the task ahead and prays that, the people of the Upper East region, especially the businesses, will support the Club in the form of sponsorship and donations, since they stand the chance of benefiting, if the Club qualifies for the National Premiere League and also progress in the FA League.
