The Portuguese Primeira Liga have confirmed the signing of the Ghana international.Former Berekum Chelsea skipper Mohammed Abdul Basit has completed his move to Marítimo da Madeira.
The 26-year-old signed a three-year deal with the Green and Reds lads on Tuesday.

He has joined the Portuguese top-flight side from Lithuanian side FC Stumbras.
Basit was a member of Ghana's team that won the 2013 WAFU Cup.
