The Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association at its meeting held on Thursday December 15, 2011 has approved the recommendations of the Match Review Panel.
Case - Medeama vs Heart of Lions
Mr. Samuel Gyasi - Denying Heart of Lions a good goal in the 44th minute and in the process awarded an infringement against Heart of Lions.
Decision
Mr. Samuel Gyasi, referee for the Medeama vs Heart of Lions match played on November 27, 2011 at the Sekondi Stadium has been suspended for six weeks (6)
Case - Heart of Lions vs Tema Youth
Mr. Ali Musah Plato - Awarded a goal to Tema Youth when the ball only hit the outside of the net.
Mr. Emmanuel Baah - Awarded a goal to Tema Youth when the ball only hit the outside of the net.
Mr. Danquah Wilson - Failed to report the serious lapse of the goal incident.
Decision
Mr. Ali Musah Plato, referee for the Heart of Lions vs Tema Youth match played on November 30, 2011 at the Kpando Park has been suspended for six(6) weeks.
Mr. Emmanuel Baah, assistant referee for the Heart of Lions vs Tema Youth match played on November 30, 2011 at the Kpando Park has been suspended for eight (8) weeks.
Mr. Danquah Wilson, match commissioner for the Heart of Lions vs Tema Youth match played on November 30, 2011 is free of any disciplinary actions after studying the evidence.
Case - Aduana vs Mighty Jets
Mr. Patrick Kyeremateng - Reports that the referee awarded a bad penalty to Aduana and followed up with a caution to player Winfred Dormon which resulted in his sending off since it was his second caution.
Decision
No disciplinary action was taken against Mr. Patrick Kyeremateng, referee for the Aduana vs Mighty Jets match at the Agyeman Badu Park.
Case - Tema Youth vs Arsenals
Mr. Elvis Mensah - Invited before the panel to explain a vital portion of his tape that was missing from the recording.
Decision
Mr. Elvis Mensah, cameraman for the GFA for the Tema Youth vs Arsenals match at the Tema Park be dismissed.
