Everton fans have voted and confirmed that they would not be in favour of a permanent deal for the Ghana winger Christian Atsu.
UK-based newspaper Liverpool Echo conducted a poll on whether 15 first-team players should be kept on at the club beyond this summer or whether they should be offloaded in the upcoming transfer window.
And 80 percent of the 48,000 Toffees’ fans that took part in the survey involving 15 first team players say they deem Christian Atsu surplus to requirements.
The most popular choice to stay is Luke Garbutt (97%) while over 70% of voters believe Aiden McGeady should be sold along with Arouna Kone 68%.
Atsu, tagged at some point as one of the best young players coming through, has made only one Premier League start this term, coming on as a substitute on a further four occasions.
The 23-year-old joined Chelsea last season pretty much excelled in his first loan stint in the Dutch top flight with Vitesse.
