Europa League: Thomas Partey's Atletico Madrid to play Sporting CP

Thomas Partey's Atletico Madrid will play Portuguese side Sporting CP in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

Partey assisted Atleti beat Lokomotiv Moscow 8-1 on aggregate to reach last eight of the competition.

Meanwhile, Sporting knocked out FC Viktoria Plze? to qualify for the current stage of the competition.

The first leg will be on 5 April at home of Atletico, Wanda Metropolitano while the return leg in the José Alvalade will be played on 12 April.

The 24-year old has scored five goals in all competitions this season.
