Essien, Gyan & Amoah to miss Burkina game ?

According to Ibrahim Diarra, reporting from Mali on GTV's program "Bonjour Soccer", Michael Essien, Baffour Gyan and Matthew Amoah wild miss the Black Stars' crucial game against Burkina Faso due to injury.

Essien has an ankle injury, Baffour Gyan has not recovered from a groin injury and Matthew Amoah is suffering from malaria. Due to this situation, there would be some changes in the Lineup.

Sammy Agyei would most likely be in goal, Blay and Mireku would be playing the full back positions;John Mensah and Kofi Amponsah would play in Central Defence; Princeton Owusu Ansah would join Ibrahim Razak in midfield together with Emmanuel Duah and Derek Boateng. In attack it would either be Isaac Boakye, Ishmael Addo or Emmanuel Osei Kuffour. Most of the callers on the program predicted a win for Ghana with only one caller predicting a 1-0 win for Burkina Faso.

Alhaji Grunsah the CEO of King Faisal Soccer team who was part of the program made the comment that if the Stars do not qualify, then he would suggest that Coach Osam Duodu stays in Mali for a while before coming to Ghana. One caller was not too happy about the comment that Alhaji Grunsah made concerning Coach Osam Duodu.
