Erol Bekir has jumped straight into the mix at Ghana Premier League club, Bechem United where he has assumed a technical role in youth development.

41 year old Bekir arrived in Ghana on Friday night tasked with reviving the club's youth side which will also soon travel on a tour of Europe.

Aside building the junior side to beef the senior side, the UEFA licensed Swede will also be on the sidelines at Bechem United games in the Ghana Premier League to offer technical advise as the club enters the critical phase of the season with fight for survival on the cards.

“Bechem United have decided to emphasize on youth development as we see it to be the future of our club and Ghana football. The next Abedi Peles, Tony Yeboahs, Asamoah Gyans and Christian Atsus must be discovered today," Bechem United President, Kingsley Owusu Achau said of Bekir's arrival.

Bekir is expected to be on the sidelines to help the Bechem United technical team when they travel to Accra to face Great Olympics in a First Capital Plus Ghana Premier League match day 22 clash at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
