Ghana goalkeeper Ernest Sowah is set to sign for Ghana Premier League club Asante Kotoko, Sportscrusader.com can confirm.
The 27-year-old is available as a free agent following the expiration of his loan deal with DR Congo club Don Bosco.
Sowah has been training with Berekum Chelsea on the quiet since his return from the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations with the Black Stars as his contract with Don Bosco had expired.
He was in talks over a move to South African club Orlando Pirates but the move fell through.
He is now wanted at Kotoko and is likely to seal his move by next week.
Sowah will be contesting for the first choice slot at Kotoko against Eric Ofori Antwi and Joseph Addo once his move to Kotoko is complete.
The dethroned Premier League champions are looking to sign a goalkeeper to serve as cover for Isaac Amoako who has been struggling with injury.
