French-born Ghanaian defender Enock Kwateng assisted France to defeat Portugal 3-1 to reach the final of the 2016 Euro U19 Championship on Thursday.
The 19-year-old Nantes defender climbed off the bench to replace Kylian Mbappe on 80 minutes and anchored the defensive lines for the European youth powerhouse.
Before his introduction, France had already scored their three goals in the game and he had to help the side protect the goals.
Kwateng was born to Ghanaian parents in France and started his career playing for Nantes' youth side.
He made his debut for Nantes in the French Ligue 1 in the just ended season, making two appearances.
Thursday night's game was his third game of the competition for France.
