Portugal-based winger Emmanuel Oti Asigba has expressed his excitement after earning a call-up to the Black Satellites team ahead of the 2015 World Youth Championship in New Zealand.
The 18-year-old was named in a 35-man provisional list released by head coach Sellas Tetteh on Tuesday.
The Sporting Braga attacker was one of the ten foreign-based players invited by the Ghanaian trainer.
Oti, former player of Premier League side WAFA, is ecstatic about his inclusion in the provisional squad for the Global football showpiece in May this year.
“I am very much excited with the call-up because is every player’s dream to be in the National colours and represent the nation at the highest level like the World Cup,” he told Atinka Fm.
“At least I see my work is being appreciated and I’m very happy because there are many talents out there who are also playing very well.”
The talented enforcer represented Ghana’s U17 [Black Starlets] at the 2013 Africa U17 Championships in Morocco.
