Agyemeng-Badu's mum, Isaac Cofie; others to be awarded at 2018 Calcio Trade Ball

Recipients of awards at the 3rd Calcio Trade Ball will include four others, that’s according to an announcement of the second batch of award categories.

Stephen Appiah, Kwadwo Asamoah and Richmond Boakye-Yiadom were disclosed last week.

The ArthurLegacy and Embassy of Italy event will also award the mother of midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, and Bechem United Chairman Kingsley Owusu-Achau.

The rest are Sassuolo young striker Brian Oddei and Genoa midfielder Isaac Cofie.

Madam Theresa Abomaa will receive the CTB Parent Impact Award for her ''special contribution to the development of Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu into a Ghanaian football superstar'' according to the official Twitter handle of the event.

It also tweeted that the CTB Lifetime Outstanding Achievement Award will go to Owusu-Achau for playing key roles in the transfer of tens of players to Italy in the last 10 years.

While Cofie will receive the CTB Long-service Award, for his ''loyalty and commitment, contractually, to a single football club over 9 years'', the CTB Rising Star Award will go to Oddei.

The 15-year old is being recognised for ''consistently demonstrating unique promise as a young striker in the Italian Under-15 and 16 leagues.''

CTB 2018 will be held at for Kempinski Hotel Accra on June 10 and attendance is strictly by invitation.
