Great Olympics midfielder Emmanuel Amartey is upbeat about their chances of surviving relegation from the Ghana Premier League.

The Dade Boys are heavily tipped by the bookies to face the drop following their underwhelming performance in the campaign.

But according to Amartey, the younger brother of Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey, they can still survive the doldrums despite their delicate position on the standings.

“It hasn’t been the best of seasons, but we are not losing hope, we will do our possible best and try to stay in the League,” he told Ghana Sports Newspaper.

“It is not going to be easy but we will work towards that, we have in mind to win all our remaining matches and we must achieve that, that is the only way we can survive.”

Olympics are 15th on the log with 22 points after 21 games.
