Elmina Sharks target top 4 finish next season

Ghana Premier League side Elmina Sharks have set an audacious target of finishing in the top four next season, according to the Public Relations Officer of the club.

Sharks, who had a good debut season where they finished 9th want to improve their performance by making it into the top four in the upcoming campaign.

According to Public Relations Officer of the Club, Mr. Richmond Arthur, who was speaking on local radio station Asempah FM, he said,“As for Elmina Sharks our target is to fall in the top four in the Ghana Premier League and also participate in Africa.”

Meanwhile, the PRO also revealed the club are on the verge of signing former Aduana Stars and Kumasi Asante Kotoko winger Richard Mpong.

The Elmina based side have intensified their preseason activities by confirming the positions of their technical team, with Yaw Acheampong as Head Coach, assisted by Felix Aboagye and Kim Grant as the Technical Director.

Owner of the club, Dr. Papa Kwasi Ndoum has charged the technical team with finishing fourth next season.

The Club has however lost some key players in the off-season with Farouk Mohammed joining Enyimba FC and reports indicate star man Felix Addo will be joining a club in Kuwait.
