Elmina Sharks beat Kotoko to sign winger

Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side, Elmina Sharks, are on the verge of signing Sky FC talented winger, Michael Oppong Aboagye, after both sides agreed on a fee.

The 22-year-old, who had a season’s loan spell with BA United, has been a key transfer target for Kumasi Asante Kotoko who have been monitoring the player over past months.

The winger was adjudged the most valuable player in six matches in Zone 1 of the Division One League, after scoring five goals.

Elimina Sharks have been one of the busiest sides in the transfer season, having already recruited Marvin King, Saliu Babawo, Francis Arthur, Isaac Acheampong and Kingsley Adjei.Type a message
