Elmina Sharks Coach satisfied with players performance in Hearts friendly

Head Coach of Elmina Sharks Yaw Achempong says he is satisfied with the performance of his players in the friendly with Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

The Elmina Club defeated the Ghana giants 10, thanks to a Benjamin Tweneboah strike.

After the game, Coach of Elmina Sharks Yaw Acheampong says he is happy with the progress made by his players.

“We brought a new system to the team this season and it is working very well. Our players did well. Hearts of Oak also brought different team compared to the team they used during G-8. I’m happy with the performance of my boys”.

Yaw Acheampong also talked about the importance of winning Sunday’s friendly as well as the need to be careful regarding the number of friendly matches they are playing.

“The win will raise the confidence of the team and their motivation level will rise. At the same time, the delay to the start of the league is disturbing, because we’ve to be careful with the games we play.

“If you don’t take time, it will get to the time of the league and fatigue will start to set in. And your team will start going down. Though they did very well, we’ve to be careful with type of the training and matches we give to the boys”.
