The Member of Parliament for the good people of Ellembelle Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah has donated an amount of Ghc 5,000.00 to Nzema based Karela United FC on Sunday, 26th May, 2019.

The gesture was part of his continuous support to the team since its promotion into the premiership.

The donation was done by a delegation led by the NDC Constituency Chairman of Ellembelle, Hon Alex Mahama, Constituency executives and other stakeholders of the party.

The decision for this kind gesture became necessary because the management of the team brought to the notice of the Hon. Member of Parliament that the team is facing some financial crisis.

According to him, the move is aimed at boosting the morale of management and players as they focus on the next stage of the ongoing competition.

In an address delivered on his behalf by Mr Alex Mahama, assured that the Hon Buah is committed to the welfare of all irrespective of their affiliation, adding that the (Hon MP) is ever ready to support the team when the needs arise.

He added that this will not be the last donation from the Hon. Member of Parliament.
