Eleven Wonders gave us a tough game - Aduana coach

Head Coach of Aduana Stars Yusif Abubakar says the 3-1 scoreline against Eleven Wonders flatters his team.

The Premier League Champions beat Wonders at the Babayara Stadium on Thursday to make it two wins out of two which guarantees progress to the semi-finals of the competition.

Striker Bright Adjei, midfielder Noah Martey, and new signing Oba Ikama were all on target for the ‘Ogya’ club before Larbi Koomson got the consolation goals for Wonders from the penalty spot five minutes to full time.

Coach Abubakar told reporters after the game that Wonders are not a weak side despite the result.

”They gave me a lot of headaches to solve, it was a very tough and interesting game. Despite the result, it wasn’t an easy match”.

The result meant the Premier League newcomers have been evicted from the tournament going into their final Group match against Dreams FC.
