Ghanaian forward Rodney Antwi has joined Egyptian Premier League side Wadi Degla in the ongoing transfer window.
The 24-year-old goal poacher penned a three-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Antwi joins from Bulgarian top-tier side FC Tsarsko Selo Sofia where he spent less than seven months — scoring 9 goals in 18 games.
Wadi Degla have been keen to bolster their attacking options following their disappointing start to the campaign, which has seen them record just three wins in fourteen games.
In case he is registered by his Dutch passport, Antwi will become the first Dutch player to play in the Egyptian Premier League since Sidney Schmeltz, who featured for Petrojet during the 2014/2015 season.
